As an introduction to the concepts and methods needed to increase study efficiency, the course acquaints students with better study habits. Topics include listening, efficient textbook reading, time scheduling, note taking, test strategies, project and paper development, library skills, and basic study systems improvement.
STSK 2299 Independent Study, 1-3 credits
Designed to offer students the opportunity to do extensive reading or research on a specified topic in study skills.
