POLICY 1A.9 Environmental Health and Safety

Alcohol and Drugs

The use or possession of alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs on campus is prohibited.

Gambling

Gambling is prohibited on campus.

Tobacco

The campuses of Anoka-Ramsey Community College are tobacco-free.   This policy includes buildings only and not grounds.

Smoking on the immediate building grounds is permitted only at the following designated building entrances:

Cambridge Campus:

  1. Campus Center Building: lower level east patio entrance overlooking the pond.
  2. Campus Center Building: lower level loading dock entrance (staff only).
  3. Humanities and Instructional Sevices Buildings: north entrance of breezeway between buildings.

Coon Rapids Campus:

  1. Left front entrance of theater close to upper gymnasium entrance.
  2. Upper north entrance of Fine Arts Building.
  3. Lower Student Center entrance behind the building, facing the river, outside SC123.
  4. Back entrance to Business/Nursing near the student study lounge B204.
  5. Maintenance loading dock entrance (staff only).
  6. Front entrance of the Training and Development Center .

11/03                Omitted designation of lower gym entrance and added TDC designation for CR Campus.
