Meet Dr. Stephen Jones

Stephen (Steve) Jones, Ph.D. recently began at the Continuing Education and Customized Training Center at the Coon Rapids Campus. In this position, Steve will develop and organize business programs with the goal of maximizing success for both the college and participating regional business professionals. Steve comes to the position with a doctorate degree in Agricultural Education from Iowa State University. He has more than 20 years of experience in education, including 15 years at the University of Minnesota in their international exchange program. In that position, Steve worked with students from more than 45 countries. He has also traveled to 40 countries.   “Nearly all of my experience has been with adult and extension education,” Steve says. “My position at Anoka-Ramsey in the Continuing Education division is simply an extension of that experience.”
